MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Dr. Dennis McIlroy
(Denny)
Denny holds a Doctorate in Education with a focus on effective teaching in real estate. A licensed Broker and Certified Appraiser since 1991, he has developed and instructed real estate curriculum since 1982. Notable projects include Springfield's “West Village” subdivision and “Evergreen Office Condominiums.” Denny’s expertise also extends to appraisal law, having contributed to the development of national curriculum standards. As the founder of Lifetime Learning in 1988, Denny remains dedicated to student success, often serving as a resource for former students navigating the real estate and appraisal industry.
Tonda McIlroy
Tonda, Education Coordinator of Lifetime Learning, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and has been a licensed Broker with 35 years of real estate experience. For over 30+ years, she has been teaching and developing real estate pre-license curriculum while also instructing continuing education courses. Known for her passion for teaching and dedication to student success, she’s affectionately called “Mama Tonda” by her students.
Kellen McIlroy
Kellen McIlroy has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. He is a licensed Broker, and has been an instructor with Lifetime Learning for 10 years and has been with the company over 20. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Kellen offers one-on-one, as well as group, tutoring assistance to students upon request. He was previously involved in the property management aspect of real estate and has completed 200 classroom hours of Appraisal pre-license coursework. He is presently pursuing an Appraisal Apprenticeship and Appraisal Licensure. His classroom charisma and thoughtful attention to the concerns of the students are assets to the student experience begins with an idea.
